An American Talk Radio Pioneer – Rush Limbaugh


“The American dream has now morphed into an expectation. And if it isn’t provided, or if it doesn’t happen, then people feel cheated.” For those unfamiliar with this quote, it was spoken by conservative political commentator and radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh whom we would now like to recognize as one of the most accredited pioneers of conservative polemic.

Rush Limbaugh started out as a disc jockey at sixteen years of age and would eventually go on to begin his very own show in 1984 named Sacramento which was on station KFBK. This was where he first began his continuous structure of commentary that was politically motivated and took various callers. Rush Limbaugh

This list would never be complete if a talk radio icon like Rush Limbaugh were never mentioned. He gained most of his momentum during the early 1990s and Limbaugh has been quoted as saying, “Obamacare is not about improved health care or cheaper insurance or better treatment or insuring the uninsured, and it never has been about that.
